no driver firewire ieee1394 cards

I would like to know if it's normal that there is no driver for Firewire (IEEE1394) cards in Windows Vista Beta 2 ?

My on motherboard Firewall (IEEE1394) port was detected perfectly and works as it should. Vista Beta 2 had built-in generic drivers for that.

My firewire card from Unibrain (Firewire800) was recognized and Vista loaded the native drivers for it.

I have a PCI USB/1394 card using a VIA chip that VISTA installed drivers for that worked fine. -- Paul
